Hello. Greetings in the Name of Jesus! My name is Margie Moormann and I’m glad you’re here.
I’ve been a believer in Jesus since my childhood. However, when I was in high school and college, I was looking for “more of God.” I belonged to many Christian groups, longing and hoping to find the fulfillment of knowing the Person of Jesus. A few years later, as a married woman starting a family and career, I had a dynamic face to face encounter with Jesus which changed my life! He introduced me to Holy Spirit and the beginning of the “more” of Him. It is never ending. He continues to overwhelm me with His Magnificent Presence.
My husband and I founded Still Waters Ministries in the 1970s offering a place of rest, refreshing and encouragement for traveling Christians who bring the message of Jesus Christ. Guests from all countries and continents are always welcome in our Houston, Texas home.
As my walk with the Lord expanded, Still Waters Ministries grew to have a dual purpose. Invitations for me to speak come in from the U.S. and around the world. I am thankful for continuous opportunities to share the truth of our identity as sons and daughters of the Most High God. Our identity authorizes us to live in this world just as Jesus lived in this world. It is my delight to minister to hearts through Holy Spirit at conferences, retreats, camps, and churches as well as over Christian radio. Lives are transformed as people are immersed in the still waters of Jesus’ love.
I am a wife, mom, grandma, speaker, teacher, and mentor. And sometimes people like to know that I’m also an ordained minister. I am passionately in love with my Papa God, Jesus my Savior, and Holy Spirit who bring excitement, joy, fulfillment and amazing love to this walk with Jesus that we are living.
I’m a pretty big risk taker for God. I believe we are spirit beings living our lives in the spirit realm while in these bodies here on earth. I have Holy Spirit visions, visitations and heavenly encounters and I’d like to share some of them with you.
My blog entries will fill up quickly as I journal my supernatural experiences. A friend suggested the title for my blog, “Living Beyond the Margins.” It definitely describes who I am. My desire is that the blog posts will inspire you to realize our supernatural life is reality and that your own supernatural encounters await you. I pray the posts will help you discover the depths of the spiritual waters and have you agree with me that our God is a big, big God who is crazy in love with all of us!
“I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I will always pray with joy… being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:3,4,6
